Hello! Welcome to another WOYWW!! This weekly event was created by the talented Julia Dunnit. To read her blog and join in visiting lots of busy desks (and generally have a good nosey, like me heehee!) please click here! But before you disappear off into Blogland I'd like to show you my humble offering ...
A couple of weeks ago I found a lovely little shelf/storage thing. I could show you any earlier as I left it at my parents (I was visiting them you see ...) and didn't get to bring it home until a couple of days ago ... I was originally going to use it to store and display my Stampotique stamps ... but they wouldn't all fit, so for now they're still in a plastic tub ... Instead I decided to create a small crafting area in my kitchen! It probably sounds a bit daft, but sometimes I get bored when boiling potatoes (gas hob - I won't leave it unattended ...) so am now able to do some creating at the same time (sad or what lol!)! Anyway, here it is ...
I'm rather pleased with it! Inside are stamps, acrylic blocks, paper, etc and a small cutting mat fits neatly underneath...
Thats all from me today! Have a great WOYWW!!!
just perfect and the colours are fab!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the peek! Sarah (at 4)
Trowbridge?? Are you a Wiltshire gal too? Or was that when you were visiting your nearest and dearest? Like your new crafting area - I'm always doing something when I cook, with the result that I burn stuff onto saucepans quite frequently !! LOL Hugs, LLJ xxx
ReplyDeleteWow that set of drawers looks totally different, and a great use for it, storing those inks.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW.

Great storage thingy. :) We got an induction cooker cause my mom kept leaving stuff on the gas stove to burn. :)
ReplyDeleteHow fab to have multiple craft stations around the house……….bathroom next?
ReplyDeleteI love the shelf unit, it’s just perfect.
Have a good week and…………
Happy Crafting!

A craft station in the kitchen? Now why didn't I think of that? Makes perfect sense!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW
Luckily my craft room (the Making room as my 4 yr old grandee calls it) is right off my kitchen having officially once been the laundry room. I can nip in and out and keep an eye on everything boiling or roasting!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea from you to have that cute little unit at hand.
Thanks for following my blog... welcome and Hello!
Love JoZarty x
Ah Trowbridge..where you visitng? Or are you hiding from me Jan and Morti??!! No really, how nice to find a nice shop that you can genuinely blare about for no reason...when I visit,I will tell them. I love your logic behind the kitchen craft area. But remember..my whole room started with a shoebox full. And you need a kitchen. Apparently!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great little storage area for those stamps. That would be awesome to work in the kitchen but I have waaaaaay to much stuff to fit. Thanks for the snoop!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute little unit.
ReplyDeleteI'm another wiltshire girl too.
Love the ink storage.

Hi, we've both got new storage for ink pads, etc - though you have rather more Memento Dew Drops in your collection. They look really pretty on the shelves. I think that's a great idea to have a week crafting capsule in your kitchen - I just don't think it would go down too well with my DH somehow. Elizabeth x #51
